Introduction

JEE Advanced is one of the most prestigious engineering entrance exams in India, conducted by one of the IITs on a rotational basis. It is the gateway for admission to undergraduate programs at the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). Application Process

The application process for JEE Advanced 2024 includes several steps:

1. Registration: Candidates need to register online at the official JEE Advanced website.
2. Filling the Application Form: Provide all necessary personal and academic details.
3. Uploading Documents: Upload scanned copies of required documents, including a photograph, signature, and category certificate (if applicable).
4. Payment of Application Fee: Pay the application fee using online banking, credit card, or debit card.
5. Confirmation: Review and submit the application. Print out the confirmation page for future reference.

Eligibility

To be eligible for JEE Advanced 2024, candidates must:

• Rank within the top 2,50,000 in JEE Main 2024.
• Have been born on or after October 1, 1999 (five-year relaxation for SC, ST, and PwD candidates).
• Have appeared for the Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in either 2023 or 2024.
• Not have been admitted to an IIT previously.

Admit Card

The JEE Advanced 2024 admit card is a crucial document for exam day. To download it:

1. Visit the official JEE Advanced website.
2. Login with your registration number and date of birth.
3. Click on the 'Download Admit Card' link.
4. Print and save the admit card for future reference.

The admit card contains important details such as the exam center, date, and timing.

Exam Pattern

Understanding the JEE Advanced exam pattern is essential for effective preparation. The exam consists of two papers:

• Paper 1: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
• Paper 2: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics

Both papers are mandatory and held on the same day. The test is conducted online, with a duration of 3 hours for each paper. The question types include multiple-choice questions (MCQs), numerical-based questions, and match-the-following.

Syllabus
